Tour note: The Steppes invasion of Italy was halted immediately at the Swiss border. The lads were told to get out of the tour van and line up with machine guns pointed at them!!! The Italian border guards then proceeded to pull everything out of the van----then they suddenly stopped? The guards grabbed a box of T-shirts and started yelling "The Steppes...Irelanda.." They wanted free T-shirts and copies of the 'Enquire Within' LP. The Steppes had no idea that there was extensive press coverage of their upcoming tour...
